Hi everyone, this is my first time posting and my first time building a computer. How does this build look, and does anyone have any comments/suggestions about changing anything? I'm building it primarily to play FFXIV and other new games like Starcraft II. My price point is around $1000, but I have some breathing room there. Currently, I'm just installing the 1 GPU, but would like to keep the option for SLI open for the future.

A few things u should know about SATA/USB 3.0 tech and mobos as shown by our very own forums here

Also note that LGA 1156 shall be usurped by LGA 1155 as soon as end of this year/possible Q1 next year if u intending to sink a wee bit on chip + board FYI...

1st the case and psu are much better . the psu is modular and more efficient
2nd the videocard has a better cooler quieter and has a lifetime warranty
3rd the hdd is better quality and a hell lot faster(it competes with the velociraptors)
4th the odd is cheaper
5th the build includes a great cooler
