Need help with this motherboard

Hi everyone this is my current config
Intel dual core e5300 oced to 3.6ghz (fsb)
Intel dg rq41 motherboard
4gb RAM ddr2 800 mhz
Nvidia 9800 gt
Cooler master 650w w

I have a 500 gb hdd and I was hoping to upgrade to an ssd, however I am unable to find the achi interface in boot. All I can find is the following
Drive configuration
ATA/IDE MODE. Either native or enhanced, I can't find achi anywhere in the drive configuration page.

My BIOS is the latest version i just updated it yesterday.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could guide me on how to find out if my motherboard will support ssd, I really do not want to upgrade the motherboard as I'm fine with it and the CPU :/

SSD's will work fine in ide mode; you don't need achi. It is only for trim support in windows 7, but can run fine without it. Some older boards don't offer the achi option.
