Damaged jpeg files

Hello,
I had some jpeg pictures on a flash drive but it suddenly corrupted and I had to use a software to extract the pictures. However, most pictures came out partly visible and a porton of the picture frames in gray. When I open the folder where I store the saved pictures, the thumbnails for those pictures momentarily show the full pictures before they too are curtained partly with gray parts, which suggests they still store the full picture data somewhere. Is there any way I can restore the full pictures?

No. Thumbnail Data is not a copy of the picture it's greatly lowered in detail and size and would look horrible as anything but a thumbnail
