Dual Channeling Ram

So I have a 4gb set of ram, Muskin Enhanced Silverline #996768

This is a dual channeling set of ram (2x2gb) but turns out 1 was defective, and i removed it and am now running twice as fast with 1 stick.

Any consequences with running 1 stick when this is supposed to be a dual channel kit?

Cause it didnt take half an hour to load my desktop picture, maybe like 20 seconds tops

But the defective stick was probably slowing you down.

Your fine running just one stick. RMA or buy another when you get the chance to get back to 4GBs.

Mushkin has a lifetime warranty. Have them replace the kit.

I will probably buy another kit. I would have Mushkin replace it, but I'm not sure about how to ship or the shipping costs included. :/
