Hello guys, so this will be my first post here at Tom's Hardware. I'm new to computer hardware, so I'm sorry if I'm totally missing the target on my own diagnosis.

I was wondering if you guys would be able to enlighten me on a problem that caused me to drop my ram down to 4gb (only using two slots)

So I have a p55m sd40 mobo
the rig originally ran 2x2gb adata 1600 ddr

I purchased these,

When I placed them into my rig, everything went smooth, but atleast three to four times a week I happened to come across blue screens.
It is now about a year later, and I'm starting to think that maybe it wasn't the mobo that was the problem, and instead it might be the mismatched voltages to the RAM?

After dealing with the bsod, I took out my ADATA ones, and I never received a bsod.
My ram is alternating as a 0101
