I’m think out getting a new mobo to replace the stock Mobo I got from CPUtopia.com I found two GIGABYTE’s GA-MA785GM-US2H (mATX) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128394 and Asus’s M4A89GTD PRO AM3 AMD 890GX HDMI SATA 6Gb/s (ATX) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131633. There both good but there’s one problem, both of them are CrossfireX TM competent I know that there are cases and PSU that are CrossfireX TM competent that are on ATI website so wmy question is this is my from CPUtopia.com CrossfireX TM competent? Solution
There no such thing as Crossfire cases and PSUs, any ATX case will fit crossfire and as long as the PSU is powerful enough you'll be fine.

But since it seems like you're not even running crossfire you have nothing to worry about. Its simply an added feature.

You may be right but come on for ATI and NVIDIA to say that you need CrossfireX/SLI cases, PSU, mobo, GPU Cooling ECT to get that CrossfireX/SLI experience is pretty silly they must be reading from the same book right?

Its the book of money they are reading from, everytime something is labeled nVidia SLI certified it means their name shows up in one more place, it doesnt mean its any better than the ones that didnt get sent in for certification. Just like the QVLs for memory on motherboards, the fact that its certified doesnt mean that those that arent wont work. The fact that its certified also doesnt mean it will work, there are some pretty crappy CF/SLI certified PSUs that i wouldnt crossfire anything over 5670's on.
