Hello,
I'm planning on building my own pc. I want to make an average own that is able to play a few games and do the usual. Is the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 a good cpu? is it worth the extra 20 to get the E8500? Also i wasnt sure what i should be looking for in a motherboard, video card..

I was also worried about capability issues, since I dont know a lot about building. Im trying to stay around 500-700. Here are some of the things i picked out...

video - EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

hhd - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

ASUS Black SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model DVD-E818A6T/BLK/B/G

I want like 4 g of ram and i also will need a wireless network adaptor.
