Toshiba wireless light flashes amber

I have a Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5868 - when the power adapter is plugged in, the wireless light blinks Amber consistently and there is a clicking sound that is synchronized with the light. Pulled the motherboard and all connections/hardware - everything. Connected the power cable inside the base, which connects directly to the dc jack and it keeps doing it. No battery either, no ram, HD, nothing, no hardware is connected.

Solved: It turns out the charger was putting out the incorrect voltage. Replaced it. Problem solved. Computer boots perfectly and battery charges too.
