Install second sata hard drive xp home already install

Device manager shows
2 Sata hd's .
Properties Tabs shows Both to be working Properly
After adding new Hardware Wizzer [ useful as windows help ],
Open My Computer icon and only 1 HD.
How do I correct this?

Use windows disk management to format, initialize and partition drive, then "my computer" will see it.

No option to format shows up in diskmgmt.msc tried that,
hence My predicament.

Does the drive appear in disk managment? You must partition the drive before you can format it. Also you should remove your email address unless you like spam.

I must be getting Old. lol it is My sons pc and I have not checked any of the Services
in Admin Tools : says OldDodge Glowing red : he he and Thanks for the Spam alert .
