Memtest errors caused by mobo or ram?

Recently I got a memory manegement blue screen and I just ran memtest today and it failed multiple times most within the same test 3rd hour in today.

Is it possible that a mobo might cause good ram to fail memtest? If not then I know 100% my ram was slowly going bad and was the culprit these past few months!

It all depends. I noticed in your sig that you are overclocking your computer. Have you tried running memtest with stock settings?

Nope. I guess I shall... Memory is running at what it's rated though

It just passed with both sticks in the untested mobo slots... 5hours no errors with both. Gaaaaaah! It corrupted my windows so I have to back it up... -_-
