I am thinking of buying a Dell Studio 15 Laptop with i7 processor and a ati raedon 5470 HD graphics Card.
All i wanted to know was that is my choice correct as i have a budget only upto Rs.55000 and i want my laptop to play all hardcore games in it

dude laptop is not meant for gaming...
if you want gamin then buy a good desktop you will get a nice gaming desktop for 40k
and for portability you can go with a low end laptop...for 20k you will get one... totaling up to 60k
else increase the budget and go with an alienware laptop or something....
i ll say for your budget you wont get a laptop for hardcore gaming....

First thing, gaming laptops are very very expensive...
If you want to play all hardcore games then get a desktop. :)

If you buys a laptop get an Asus,

Well design, good price, better waranty (2 years )

be prepared to pay big bucks for those though. But it's your best bet

5470 will not be enough for "hardcore gaming" in mobile graphic cards i think you'll need 5850/ gt360m to get decent graphics but i dont think thats in your budget..
