Hey there
Right now my 21 inch moniter is being used for 1920 x 1080 resolution. But I think I need to go down a resolution or two so that I can play on max settings (of games) without stutters etc. What resolution should I be using with my card?

Asus EAH5670
i5 750 (4.0)
4 GB RAM

Thanks

Playing at a lower than native resolution often causes the game to look worse, as the scaling stretches the image to the correct size. it winds up looking blurry, so you will most likely be better off lowering settings than resolution.

but thats a fairly weak card, you wont be able to max anything at a decent resolution. if you are set on lowering the res though, about 1366x768 would allow for decent framerates in the more demanding games with max settings. less demanding games should be fine at 1680x1050.

what games do you usually play?
