Uninstall Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev2

Easy to fit BUT how to uninstall? The old spring loading type of fitting had a twist to release type mechanism but this appears as a straight pull out - but it doesn't want to come. Anybody done this?

  1. This one is the same , needs to be in unlock position, check booklet came with item or find one on the web...:)
  2. It's not twist, there's no booklet on the web, and the booklet included doesn't include removal instructions.

    Anyone else?

If it's these you have to pull them out.

If they won''t pull out easy you'll have to access the back of your board and push them out.
  4. Yeah that's it. Thanks I got them after getting some pliers and squeezing and pulling hard.
  5. Old thread but it's the first result on google so here goes:

Remove heatsink using the 2 screws. Pinch and pull the black bits out of the beige bits.

wiggle the remaining beige pegs diagonally towards and away from the cpu and pull.

    Done.
