Wireless adapter question

I was given a laptop for free the other day and I had a question about it. It is an older model (Eurocom 2700T) but it runs fairly well and is useful for school. The problem is that it doesn't come with any wireless capabilities. I know that I would need to purchase something for it like a PC card but as I'm not very good with computers (signing on is about the only thing I know how to do) I would really appreciate whatever advice you could give me on what I'd need to pick up so I can use the wireless internet at my school.

Thanks!

The laptop equivalent to a PCI wireless adapter is a USB wireless dongle. Have a look in your local computer school or you could find one on e-Bay for under £10 - around $14.[/#000ff]
