no, laptops are not for gaming purposes. And that video card no not good.
  2. 105m is not good
my laptop has 210m and still struggles in cod low detail 1024 resolution
how much budget have you got for your laptop?
  3. Graphic Card is too weak.

For gaming, you should consider Alienware series first.
  4. Alienware is way overpriced...
The best gaming laptops are by Gateway. I got my P-7805u for $1400 last summer.
It sports a 1GB 9800GTS, C2D @2.6ghz, 1920x1200 screen and it can run Crysis...ful res, mix of high/very high settings. All other games run great maxed out. The newer version comes with a GTX 260, and only 16x14 screen.

Asus also has pretty good gaming laptops, but nothing can beat a decent Desktop...
  5. yeah asus is good
im going to buy the asus g51-jx-x1
    i7 720m , geforce 360m, 4g ddr3
and the price is only $1200 quite attractive!
  6. wow sounds like a good deal! what screen res and size does it have?
  7. This is pretty much the best you can get:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220695&cm_re=g73jh-_-34-220-695-_-Product

The mobility 5870 kills all nVidia cards with the exception of the 480M.
  8. ^^ that looks liike a killer laptop! (specs wise)
