What GPU + CPU? help please..

OK so I made a few thread a few weeks ago, to find which CPU and GPU were the best I could get
People told me to get a GeForce GT240 and a AMD II X3 440 because these were in my budget (£120)
But I have seen reviews on both of these items, and it seems that the GT240 is underpowered and over priced
So I was wondering is there any other CPU + GPU you could recommend me, thanks..
