Which one should I buy ?

I need to change my HDD & it is very urgent. But I can't decide whether I should buy Cavier Black or Cavier Blue.
Blue costs about 103 US$ & Black costs 159$.(where I live)
And I need a casing too.
what should I do.

If you are just using the drive in an external casing connected via usb, the blue drive should be fine. I believe it does have a 3 year warranty as opposed to 5 year warranty on the black series drive though.

the black will most probably last longer, and is probably faster

if it's between those two, and ur just putting in an external enclosure, get the blue.

The black drive, they are very reliable, it's fast for a 7200RPM mechanical drive too.

If it's just for storage and not an OS, get a Caviar Green, they are good too.

I will not use it in an enclosure. I will use it as my boot drive.
