Graphics card suggestion for slim tower?

Hi,
I recently purchased a Gateway sx-2840-01 and am looking to install a graphics card. It is a slim tower. I have never done anything like this before but I have read that I can only use half sized/low profile (this may not be the correct terminology...) graphics cards. I don't intend on doing any gaming but I am going to hook the computer to a 50 inch tv and I have read that I should upgrade the graphics card if I want to do this. Is this necessary? Suggestions? Is installing a graphics card difficult? I'm also trying to keep it under $100. Thanks for your help in advance!

If you are not doing any gaming a HD5450 would be a sufficient card but if it is only watching movies the integrated should be able to handle it at an acceptable level.
Installing the card is not difficult.

Radeon 5570. Make sure to get the slim version with 128-bit GDDR3 of course. If the TV is 720p then you may as well get the cheaper 5450. Of course, if you get the 5570 you would actually be able to do some light gaming.
