SDD listed as HDD in bios

I have a Dell xps9000 (Bios ver. A16)
My new intel 330 series 60Gb SSD is listed as 'HDD' in the system BIOS. Is this normal? I do have it running in AHCI mode (Raid is the only other option and I don't want to mess with that. I did a clean install of Windows 7 and the WEI is still 5.9. Is that because the BIOS is telling it that it's running on an HDD? I just want to make sure an SSD was worth getting for my system.

Um, Never mind. I just changed the SATA port that the SDD was plugged into. The bios still says HDD but I guess that's normal because I I got the WEI bump that I was expecting. So I'm happy I didn't waste my 50 bucks. Sorry for not testing every possible variable first but, hopefully someone else will find the simple solution in this post.
