so i have a question, i'm currently using a TPQ1000 as my power supply and currently thinking of upgrading and buying a third GTX260 for SLI. Trust me this is not a thread about showing off, i seriously need to know whether i have enough wattage/ampage to run this system. according to BIOS, my CPU is using 30Amps, 1.22 volts, and 3.61GHZ. i have no idea about the rest

How is your CPU using 30 amps? That's almost 360 watts!

Even the i7s don't use more than 150watts.

And yes, your 1000 watt PSU should be able to handle it. But have you considered and getting two newer cards? They will scale better than triple-SLi
oops, maybe its telling me that the whole motherboard+CPU+Ram is using that? i understand that software electricity power monitors are rather inaccurate...
