How to but nvidia and ati in one pc

i want to buy nvidia gtx 260 for 3d vision along with my ati 5870 i wont use them together like enabling physx do you get it i want to use them seperately for 3d vision or eyefinity with my hd 5870 so anythoughts will be appreciated thanks.

Nope, cant be done. U can install both drivers, and manually swap the cards when the need arises(but the wear and tear might show after a while). Also, i thought the 5870 was 3d enabled. my 5770 is, and can run 3d games, ect...

You can run a 5870, and an Nvidia card for Physx, but other than that I don't think they are compatible, unless you get a Hydra motherboard, and you don't want to deal with that.

are you serious can i use 3d vision with hd 5870 how does it works please tell me
