Kingwin 2535 does nothing

Hello,
when i connect the 2.5 hdd to my computer with the kingwin 2535, the computer doe nothing. The blue light comes on the 2535 and the drive is humming along, but nothing is recognized. Any suggestions?

Those are notoriously unreliable. My advice is to buy a SATA HDD since it'll be much faster and the capacity should be much higher since that HDD has to be old, and they had lower capacities when they were IDE.
