Someone suggested I buy a HAF coolermaster

I did some searching on the web and the Antec Twelve Hundred seems to be a suggested case.

How does it compare to the coolermaster?

If you are talking about HAF-X then i suggest you go for it. For the HAF932, its pretty much a tie for me. But i would say the Antec 1200 then.

At this point I think it comes down to preference of looks, mostly. They're both great big cases with lots of air flow and expansion options... so which do you like more?

Which Coolermaster HAF case did you mean? There are several models.

I built two pc's using the Coolermaster HAF 932 case. One was a case mod I did that I sold. The second one is now my back-up pc. Ventilation, airflow, cooling, and cable management are excellent.

The Antec Twelve Hundred is a classic tower case with very good ventilation, airflow, and cooling. It is an older design that was quite popular with gamers and enthusiasts.

Here is a link to a Tom's Hardware technical review of pc cases published two years ago. The review included the Antec Twelve Hundred and the Coolermaster HAF 932 cases:

Quite often case selection is a matter of personal preference. :D

That's a full tower case. It is huge just like the HAF 932. It's also extra wide so it can accomodate a large fan on the side panel and one of those tall, tower style cpu heatsinks that are popular with gamers.

Enjoy your new case!
