Samsung 830 SSD and MSI GT70

Hello ,

I bought MSI GT70 0ND 202 2 days ago and I change the HDD with Samsung 830 SSD. But SSD performance is not normal i think.

My BIOS is ACHI mode. What do you think about SSD speed. Is this normal ? If it's not what i need to do ?

Those look like sata 2 speeds to me. It looks like that chipset supports up to 2 Sata 3 ports which you would hope the manufacture used one for the internal drive, but I'm not certain how to make sure thats the case.

I will send a mail to MSI , if this laptop is sata2 like you said , i can do nohing , am i right ?

I asked to MSI. They said the laptop outlets are SATA 3 , what is the wrong i dont understand. What can I try to fix it ? Help me please :)

I chat with MSI , the GT70 and the other models are have 2 HDD/SSD port. Except RAID models. So one port is SATA 2 , one port is SATA 3. I move the SSD to other port and it's solved.
