A little less CPU power now (Tri-core) (You can also try unlocking the fourth core), but in a few months when you save a litte more money, you drop in an AMD Hex core, then get the second video card for Crossfire, and you'll have a great system. This system has SATA 6 GB/s and USB 3 and the board can easily overclock. I strongly suggest you d/l the manual for the MOBO and browse through it. Budget of $700.00 is pretty tight to work with.
