Will this laptop support a 1 TB hard drive

Hello,

I have a HP Pavilion dm3 (2010us) will this laptop support a 1 TB hard drive. I have searched the manual and it does not say that I can see. Just the hard drives that you could have got with HP at purchase. Here is the link to the HP page for this laptop.

How old is the laptop and what OS is running on it?
Are we assumming you want to replace the internal HDD, rather than attach a USB connected external HDD?

I bought it in 2010 and windows 7 Ultimate.
