HD 5970 with dedicated GTX280 (nvidia)?

I was wondering about this when I built my new PC this year.

On my previous computer I had an Nvidia GTX 280 as my graphics card. But with the new Radeon HD 5970 that i just bought (love it), is it possible for me to add in my older GTX280 but dedicated to physx? and if so, how?

this might be sort of a general question, let me know if there is any info I could provide about my PC that would help.

Saw something like it here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wLrFqR-4qY

Thanks in Advance,

Would it be illogical to purchase a 480 and use it on the same machine as a 5970? Would the performance increase be worth it? (I wouldn't do this in the near future, probably around Christmas- high-end gaming only)

who said anything about a 480?

Thanks Mousemonkey
