It's like an external HDD place, when I put the HDD in before starting the system, it works. When I hot-plug it, windows does not recognize the drive eventhough it spinning in the dock :|

Is this normal? Thanx

Top hot swap capable SATA HDD Dock (requires an AHCI capable motherboard and hot swappable HDD) and USB 3.0 port for the most up to date function

Check your mobo BIOS to see if you need to turn on hotswapping for your particular SATA port.
Check and verify that hotswapping works on your mobo/hdd combination, by testing hotswapping directly to the mobo's sata ports. If that doesn't work, there's no way the case's topdock will work either.

My mobo is Asus P8H77-V, it's newest generation so I guess it should support hot-swapping.

Inside the dock, it says hut HDD in before starting system :|
