Hello, I have a new gateway nv 53 and on three occasions the screen has gotten a swirly purple tint throughout the screen. The only way to get rid of it is to turn off the computer. I am wondering if this is a product defect or something I can reset myself. Thanks

have a external monitor? You could try use external monitor, if the same problem exist then you got a defective laptop... If not then it probably you got a bad screen on your laptop...
