I have a bit of money to spend and I am wondering how I should go about upgrading.
My current build uses i7 930 which I have OC'd to 3.8Ghz using the H50 Corsair cooler.
I would like to try and get it a little higher and noticed that the 950 is now only 30GBP more expensive. I was thinking of buying the 950 and then selling the 930.
Would I be able to get the speed on a 950 up to 4.2Ghz?
Additionally, I have never actually done an actual water cooling install but I would really like to!
I bought the Obsidian 800D especially for this purpose. Because I am new to water cooling, I would like to buy an entire kit. Is this recommended? Or should I buy all the parts individually to get the best 2bang for my buck"?
I don't expect to lose much from the upgrade.. maybe 50GBP, but for that extra speed it would be worth it I'm sure.
Any comments?
