Looks like a nice start (except for the RAM).
I think I'd like a GTX 460 better than the 470 if I were in your position. What resolution monitor will you be using?

Using NewEgg.ca? Or maybe NCIX. NCIX I think.

which ram should I get? and I know its not as good of bang for the buck but I would still like to go with the 470 because it is more powerful and I have a 24" 1080p monitor to use it on
