Depending on the monitor resolution and what games you play you will see a performance with the new hardware with that old GPU.

If you run at a higher resolution the GPU wull bottle neck that CPU,

Some games are GPU limited and some are CPU limited.

But the overall system will be better with the new CPU/MoBo/MEM.

Just upgrade the GPU when you can.
