Are the cmos battery interchangable on laptops

I am looking for a cmos battery for my dell studio 1535. can't seem to see one for that model
will any other studio work or any battery with proper voltage eg.3v

Chances are that it uses a CR3032, which is pretty much the industry standard CMOS battery. Just take it out (or look in the service manual if you can find it on the net), see what model it is (it will be on the battery or in the manual), and get one the same. The chances of it being a special battery specifically for that is almost zero.
