Seagate 1tb wont show up in my computer

Hello,
hopefully someone can help me. for some reason my seagate 1tb is not showing up in my computer. i have a dell dimension 2400 and i have upgrated the ram to 2gbs. small by todays standards i know ;P but anyways when i look into the device manager its there but not in 'my computer'. so i cannot access anything from it. i used to to use it without a problem on my macbook so im not sure what is going on

What file system is on this drive, and is it an externally connected drive, or internal SATA?

Could you go to Disk Management, and upload a screenshot of the Disk Management dialog box with the drive attached, so we can see exactly how the Win OS recognized the drive and volume.
