Are you installing Windows 8 on that machine, or did it come with Windows 8? From my quick search, that machine is back from the Core Duo days, and won't support Windows 8. But I could be wrong; it happens frequently. The machine came out in 2007, so I doubt that it will be supported for Windows 8.
