SB Mobo and RAM advice

Hi,
My machine recently died and since I'm a graphic designer this is a bad situation. I'm pretty sure it was the mobo and cpu that are the problem. Anyway I've decided on a i5-2400. I'm looking at the ASUS P8P67, but I'm open to suggestions. I'm looking at 8gb of RAM. I'm not sure about the CL or timings I need. I know I need to be stable at 1.5v. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

68 is a bit out of my price range. The GPU card I'm putting in is junk and will be upgraded as soon as I can. I'm looking for a board that is solid and will be able to last. I will upgrade the cpu and gpu when I can but I really need something that will last without alot of bells and whistles. I'm not into overclocking or anything like that unless I have to.

Why should I go running from the P8P67? I'm open to suggestions on what good solid mobo I should look at.

I have P8P67 and is really good. I understand that compared to the 68 makes me wonder why they didnt release this at the begining, but if you cant afford a 68 then get the P67.
