Hello, i am very low on budget. And in my country only this well known branded PSU is available.

i will be buying it today for myself as i cant afford anything else which is available here. I donot plan over-clocking

i have

E8400 (C2D)
GA P35 DS3L (REV 2) - ASUS
250 GB - HDD
One DVD/CD writer/reader
4x1 GB RAMs

will they work fine...or no problem if a bit low. I just dont want my stuff getting damaged.

first, which country is it?
you will be fine with a 500 w psu..but a 600 w will be needed if you upgrade your pc in future..
but the psu u linked isn't 80% efficient...
something like a cooler master real power series will be better...
but its better to go for a corsair psu

The link you have shows the PSU has 2 12V rails at 17amps each.
The XFX card I looked up has a max of 217Watts.
It would be close. That max rating from XFX may be conservative.

All I can say is, it will be close. Does the video card have two pci express power connectors?

Yes it has two power connectors eight pin and six pin. I have EVGA 9800GX2

wattage is not all....
amps on +12v rail also matters
the one which you linked is not goin to give you continuos 600w
but a real power series 650w psu is going to give you continuos 650w
this one has 3 +12v rail with 19 A each and 80+ certified
and the one which you linked has 2 +12v rail with 18A each but just 70% efficient
also this will be a better option

That Coolermaster PSU is crappy. Never mind the low efficiency, it is probably capable of only around 450W continuous. I would not trust it. Do you have a link to where you can buy parts?

Don't do it!
