Need help installing web cam... nothing i do i working!!

Hello,
i fixed up my labtop and got windows 7 on it. i went to the logitech site, chose my webcam (c250) and installed the program for it but every time i plug in the webcam to the usb, it says USB device not recognized

Try a manual installation when the web cam is plugged in by right click the web cam in device manager>update driver software>browse my computer for driver software>let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer>have disk

Browse and select the inf file in the driver folder and ok.

did you instal the smart installer at 6.7 mb or the full installer at 136 mb
