I have a toshiba a75-s209. Fantastic laptop. However one thing bothers me. I have an IBM
mo27fo Optical USB mouse that works fine. If i plug it into the laptop's USB when the
computer is off, then turn it on, it recognizes and works fine.

However once the the screen blanks after being idle (it is set to turn off after 10minutes)
the mouse derecognizes. You have to restart to get it to work. I am using AC power with
full settings and no power saving except for the screen ( i want to have a blank
screen to save the LCD backlights, and for other reasons)

"USB Device not Recognized-- One of the USB devices attached to this computer
has malfunctioned. . . "

Has anyone experienced this before, or even solved this issue?

Thanks
