My video card went out a few days ago, and I decided to buy replacment AGP card so I can fiddle fart around with that computer.

My problem is that whenever I turn on the computer and it gets to the part where Windows is suppose to take over, it goes blank. So how do I replace a video card when I cant uninstall the drivers for the old one first?

The old card is an Nvidia and the new one is as well.

plug in the monitor in the onboard video, its the VGA port(the lengthy usually BLUE port with a lot of holes on the back of the PC standing vertically). The old videocard probably has its own VGA portwhich also won't work but pluggin in ur monitor to ur motherboard's onboard video should work.
