Best video card to get?

For a 115$ budget?

My system specs are

GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H
3 GB DDR2 Memory
AMD Athlon II X3 2.7ghz
500GB WD Caviar Black
400Watt silverstone power supply
and an 8600GT 512mb GDDR2 memory.

My first thoought is the HD 4850. You can find the 1GB mem version on the egg for that price.
Here's a 4870 for $120 w/ rebate:

You are awfully close to the HD 5770 though, which is directx 11 capable. In your shoes, I would save just a little more and get one of those.

The nvidia geforce 250GTS is right at that price, but I don't know much about that card. Also check the latest GPU article here:

the gt240 is somewhere between the 9500 gt and 9600 gt
but if you want a better card then you need to save up some more money and buy a better power supply

definitely, and spend the rest of your money on a new psu since your one might not support the 8800gt

OK thanks, It should be able to run it though. I will do research on what PS it takes though.
