  2. Thank you for the reply.....I just recently heard that the new GTX 465 is better than the HD 5830 and 5850 and even cost a bit less...........so why should i choose the HD 5850???

less power and less heat, also the gtx 465 is in league with the 5830 in most games
  4. the 5850 is a better card then the GTX465. it performs better in most games, its more power efficient and therefore runs cooler. the GTX 285 offers similar performance but lacks DX11 and needs more power.

    the ATI 5850 needs a 500w PSU.

any 500w+ from seasonic, corsair, antec, xfx will do. they all peak far above their stated watts.

    * i confused the GTX 285 with the 295 :kaola:
  5. Here you can compare the gaming performance of the cards http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_465_Twin_Frozr_II/29.html
  6. Thanks everyone that really helped.... :D ........but i wan't to know that whether there is a minor or a huge difference between the GTX 465 and HD 5850 in realtime gameplay......coz im always a nvidia fan because it offers PhysX and Cuda which adds special effects in games like Batman AA ,Dark Void...etc
  7. Approximately 15% difference in favor of HD5850 but if you want PhysX you could always install a dedicated nvidia card for that if you have a extra slot and not running Vista.
  8. well......how do i do that???.....please help!!!
  9. great then ill give it a try with my 9800gt....thanx rolli59,,,,,, :sol:
