RAID 0 non-bootable Setup will Windows require RAID drivers?
Oct 24, 2012, 8:15 PM
Hi, I am installing an SSD drive to act as the bootable drive (Win7).
I'm also putting in two 1TB drives in a RAID 0 config.
When installing the OS onto the SSD drive, I won't be required to push F5 to load the RAID drivers correct?
That's only if you're loading the OS onto HDDs setup in a RAID?
Just want to make sure that the OS will see the RAID drives as a single drive after loading the OS onto the SSD drive.

raid bootable setup windows require raid drivers

It's f6, and you won't need the raid drivers for the install. You may still need to install the raid drivers in order to see the raid drive, but this can be done after Windows is installed.

That's fine then. Thanks.
