Hi,
I've installed a Samsung SSd 830 128gb on an ASRock Extreme4. My write speed just seems much slower than other peoples.
It is on the correct SATA3 port for the board, Trim is working, I'm in AHCI mode, I used the Samung optimization wizard and also followed the online optimization guides. I'm not sure where to go from here. I have no idea how to post a pic on here so:

AS SD Benchamark 1.6.4237.30508
IaStor - OK
10342 - OK
Seq: 504.11 / 323.81
4k: 22.07 / 68.84
4k-64Thrd: 273.68 / 75.25
Zugriffszeit: .117 / .052
Score: 346 / 176
698

Any suggestions or am I worried about nothing? I have scored slightly over 700 in the past but even then the write scores were low.

Your numbers are perfectly normal. The specs on one of these is 320 Mb/s seq write and 30k IOPs (or about 100 Mb/s) random. Your at that speed already for sequential and random can vary depending on a huge number of factors.

I say put some games on it, stop fretting, and enjoy the speed boost :)

So my 4k and 4k-64thrd speeds seem alright then?
