Hello,

I am seeking advice on the brand Ezcool for power supplies. Has anyone heard of them and are they any good?

I am building a PC for a friend and my friends friend has this psu we can possibly use: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/700W-Ezcool-PS-08-Modular-PSU-12cm-Quiet-Fan-SLi-EPS12v-ATX-v203

However to me it looks cheap, doesn't have an efficiency rating and comments i have read are very good.

The PC spec will be:

CPU: AMD Phenom II 965BE
GPU: XFX ATI Radeon HD 5670
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS (x2)
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
Memory: Corsair XMS3 (4GB)
PSU (my choice): Silverstone SST-ST60F-P

Thanks for any help :)

From the research I have done I was unable to find ezcool's official website but I think they are manufactured by Scan.co.uk. Indeed, good point with why its not being used.

Thanks
