Hey guys, i just finished assembling my first computer build, when i booted it, it said insert disc so i put in windows 7 and it installed. It set the date and time, i chose my pc name but did not even go to the BIOS. Do i need to go to the BIOS? I do not plan on overclocking, is all the work done?

No, you probably don't need to but it is always smart to become familiar with the BIOS and the settings in case you need to change something. I suggest you take the time to review all the settings along with the manual.

When i logged on only icon i have is recycling bin, i when to the start menu > computer > system settings it says i have windows 7 64 bit, 4gb of ram 1tb hard drive, all the specs i have were listed, i think everything is set. I don't have to visit the BIOS now?
