I'm trying to find out what version of PCI-E the above motherboard has as the graphics card I'm thinking of upgrading to requires PCI-E 2.1.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

ATI RS480 SB400 chipset :

PCI Express Interface Compliant with the PCI Express 1.0a Specifications.

PCI-E 2.1 is suppose to be backward compatible with PCI-E 1.x but in the real world some have reported encountering compatibility issues when attempting to run a PCI-E 2.1 graphics card on a motherboard that has PCI-E 1.x support only.

Running a PCI-E 2.0 graphics card on a motherboard that only has PCI-E 1.x support is reportedly much more successful.
