Graphics card Master

Hello,

I'm looking for a gaphics card thats got Pixel Shader 3.0, Vertex Shader 3.0, Hardware T&L and 3D.
I have a power supply of 300W and a budget of about 100 euro.
Computer specs:
OS: Windows 7
Manufacturer: Dell
Model: Inspiron 545
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz
RAM: 3.00GB
System type: 64-bit
Nvidia and ATI radeon both sound good, if one of those could be suggested.
The budget dosen't have to be 100, but is preferrable.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.

What games or applications are you using?

You should be able to find a cheap HD5670 or GT240 for that price, and hopefully something better like an HD5750 which would be about at the edge of your power envelope (although DELL power supplies are under-rated and are usually able to tolerate more than just their rating.

Do you mean Nvidia or ATI HD5750/HD5670 ?
Also, I'd like to make it so I can run any source engine game in high quality, without crashing or lagging.

What resolution do you play at? Monitor, what size?

Agree with TGGA, get HD5670(ATI) or GT240(NVIDIA), that cards should be enough, since you only has 300W... :)

I play on 1280 x 720 with most source games a widescreen (16:9) as my monitor.
I know, those cheapies dell =[

It's okay, don't worry about that, HD5670 is a power safer card, it need less than 75W. The requirement says minimum 400W is just for a safe-side... :)

So, what is your current motherboard?

This is the stuff CPU-Z says about my motherboard.

Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
The model: 0N826N AO2
Chipset: Intel P35/G33/G31 Rev: A2
Southbridge: Intel 82801IR (ICH9R)
LCPIO: ITE IT8718

The MoBo seems fine, why were you concerned? Upgrading to something with a better CPU?

As for power consumption, look the HD5670 consumes very VERY little, less than weaker previous generation's mid-range even;
