Processor upgrade and bios on inspiron 1521

Hello,I upgrade processor tl-58 to a tl-64.
after that the boot up takes longer showing f12 and f2 on the up-right corner, then turns to yellow and after that start normal. but when I connect an external monitor it dosen't cach the lcd.
the bios version is a06 should upgrade bios?

Wouldn't hurt to try as long as machine is stable long enough for bios upgrade to complete or you will brick it.

yes the cpu is compatible, I think that I gona have to re-install the old cpu and update the bios...
