I recently built a desktop and without thinking, moved my two 2tb raid0 from its enclosure (which was doing handling the raid) and moved it into the desktop. Whilst setting it up I was wondering why it wasn't accessing and realized that I have to copy over everything and recreate the array within the desktop with my new mobo. But I accidentally initialized over it so now when I have it back in my external enclosure (Icy dock dual bay) it still shows up as a 4tb raid 0 but as initialized and unallocated. I acquired a live usb of ubuntu and i'm currently trying out gparted to try to recover it but I was reading up on testdisk and I wanted to try to recover the last guid partition table so i can just access it without recovering the data.
Is there anything I can do aside from this? Or am I doing it wrong? I have 3.2tb I really do not wish to lose.
Sidenote: The reason I had all my stuff on two these two drives is because I transfered everything from several different drives and I wanted to start making backups from just one, I was really unfortunate that I effed right now. -_-
